I am dedicating this article to my new friend Phil, my TV repair guy. Phil is an OSU alum and a great TV repairman. Phil pointed out the dominance over this past decade by the Buckeyes and inspired me to write this article.

We enter into this Thanksgiving weekend with a long list of rivalry games on the slate; none bigger than Michigan vs. Ohio State. Often referred to as “The Game”, this Saturday marks the 108th meeting between these two storied programs.

However, for a rivalry game to truly be a “Rivalry” there must be some equality in wins/losses, don’t you think?  Even though Michigan leads the overall series 57-43-6, they haven’t beaten their arch rivals since 2003. Maybe this explains why Tyrell Pryor and crew didn’t place much value in the “Gold Pants” charms, given to players every year they defeat Michigan, and decided to pawn them for tattoos instead.

With every major news agency reporting Urban Meyer will be announced as OSU’s new head coach as early as this weekend. It would appear that if the Wolverines want to turn the recent tide of dominance by the Buckeyes, now would be the time….
