This is our fourth edition of RECRUITNIK leading up to the drama that is “National Signing Day” on Feb. 1st.

As promised there were some BIGTIME commitments coming from the recent All Star games. Several programs were the benefactor; the usual suspects such as Alabama and other SEC Schools (rich get richer), and a few surprises like the Cal Bears. The breakdown from each event is below, along with updated rankings from 247Sports, based on current verbal commits.

In addition to these commitments, there have been some major recruits commit since these All Star games were played. Most notably, Jordan Jenkins, listed as the #1 player in the state of Georgia chose the Bulldogs over Alabama and Florida.

Under Armor All American game:

5 Star Safety Landon Collins- Alabama

4 Star Ath. Cyrus Jones- Alabama

4 Star Safety Chaz Elder- South Carolina

4 Star DE Channing Ward- Ole Miss

4 Star Safety Lucas Thompson- East Carolina

Army All American game:

4 Star WR Jordan Payton- Cal

4 Star DT Ellis McCarthy- Cal

5 Star Safety Shaq Thompson- Cal

4 Star LB Nick Dawson- Louisville

4 Star LB Keith Brown- Louisville

4 Star Safety Deon Bush- Miami

4 Star LB Tyriq McCord- Miami

4 Star RB Barry Sanders Jr- Stanford

4 Star DE Jonathan Bullard- Florida
