The dust has settled and the final rankings are in from the 2012 recruiting cycle. There was plenty of drama and excitement to go around on February 1st, NSD. Recruiting is by no means an exact science with many players failing to live up to hype. However for all the CFB FREAKS out there, with the season over at least we can still follow something related to this crazy game we love.

Speaking of NSD drama… Check out this video of LSU Coach Les Miles calling Gunner Kiel out. For those who don’t know, Gunner Kiel verbally committed to LSU and later de-committed and enrolled at Notre Dame. The comments about Gunner Kiel start at 1:30 on clip.

I will be posting an article in the near future detailing how much of a crap shoot recruiting is. This will be a sort of “where are they now” on past classes.

Until then, these are the final rankings compiled by 247Sports.Keep in mind there are several ranking systems, as we have mentioned earlier. I personally believe 247Sports is more unbiased in their player evaluations than Rivals or Scout.
