I might have sorted it like this :

    2012 NFL Draft :

    42 SEC
    41 Big Ten
    31 ACC
    28 Pac-10
    26 Big 12
Total 168 NFL Draft Picks 2012.

    Total 76 everyone else.

Less than half the NFL Draft Picks, 76, from 12 Conferences, while 5 Conferences had more than half the NFL Draft Picks, 168.

So, while 12 Conferences averaged 6 NFL Draft Picks each, 5 Conferences averaged 33 NFL Draft Picks.

Who dominated the 2012 NFL Draft ?

The same 5 Conferences who always do.
